Ubisoft expands into Mexico

Division established to build relationships in region

Ubisoft has opened a new business office in Mexico, with a core team focused on establishing business relationships in the region.

Based in Mexico City, the division will be headed by Ubisoft's Latin America area manager, Etienne-Charles Nobert.

"Opening an office in Mexico is a strategic decision for Ubisoft," said Oliver Ernst, general manager of Canada and Latin America.

"The Mexican market shows more stability than before and we believe it provides an amazing opportunity for growth in videogames."

"We looking forward to showing off a selection of our most highly-anticipated titles for the holiday season in Mexico City."

As one of its first commitments in the region, the publisher will be exhibiting at the Electronic Games Show at the World Trade Centre in Mexico City this weekend.
