After the recent confirmation of a Lego Batman title, developer TT Games has revealed to GamesIndustry.biz that there are more Lego games to come from the UK team.

And with awards, high sales and critical acclaim in the bag for previous Lego Star Wars games, the developer is confident of emulating the success with its latest title.

"We have genuinely exciting plans for future Lego titles," revealed Jonathan Smith, head of production at TT Games.

"We've been delighted with the positive response we've had from so many people about Lego Star Wars. We're working hard to ensure that Lego Batman exceeds expectations once again, to achieve similar success," he said.

The company says it's still dedicated to the younger gaming market, and the Lego license affords the opportunity to create genuinely unique games.

"Lego Company is a brilliant and unique organisation, and it's a special privilege to be entrusted to carry their ideals forward in videogame form," commented Smith.

"From a publishing point of view, we're laser-focussed in our dedication to young gamers, with a genuine love for the properties we work with."

Although Warner Bros. has signed on to distribute and market Lego Batman in North America, Smith confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that talks are still under way for a European partner.

"TT Games will appoint a distribution partner in Europe for Lego Batman, as we did with Lego Star Wars. We haven't made a final decision on who exactly that will be at the moment," he said.
