Square Enix hires Sparks as VP of marketing
Former Eidos exec joins Euro division
Larry Sparks will be joining Square Enix as vice president of marketing this October.
Sparks has fifteen years experience in the games business, and was recently responsible for Hitman Blood Money and new IP Just Cause for Eidos.
"I am delighted to welcome Larry as vice president of our marketing team," commented John Yamamoto, president of Square Enix.
"His track record of building brands and growing franchises in the videogames industry and deep understanding of European consumers is perfect for our strategy of further strengthening our existing brands as well as ensuring the success of our growing product line-up in Europe and other PAL territories," he said.
