Sony phases out Motorstorm bundle in US

Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed that it is phasing out the PlayStation 3 Motorstorm bundle in North America.

The deal was unveiled in July last year, with the game and the newly introduced 80GB PlayStation 3 retailing for USD 599.

"Retailers aren't getting any new inventory of the 80GB Motorstorm bundle," said a Sony statement issued to Joystiq.

To coincide with the release of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on June 12, Sony US is introducing a number of PlayStation 3 hardware bundles, including an 80GB package with DualShock 3, and a limited edition gunmetal grey SKU.
