Sony Online Entertainment launches MMO bundle

Five game bundle promotes subscription access service

Sony Online Entertainment has announced the imminent release of the Station Access Collection, a retail bundle containing all the top massively multiplayer online games published or developed by SOE to date.

Bringing together all the company's online hits in a single retail package, the Access Collection includes a thirty-day free trial for each of the five games included, with the option of subscribing to SOE's Station Access Pass - a subscription service offering unlimited play for all games for a monthly fee of USD 21.99.

Mike Lustenberger, SOE vice president of marketing commented: "Online gaming has become a huge part of PC gamersā lives over the last few years and we felt that now would be the perfect time to introduce new players to our diverse line-up of online games.

"This collection includes everything from first-person action to high fantasy role-playing to piloting X-Wings in deep space combat. The Station Access Collection is a great deal for players, collecting five very different online worlds together for the price of a single game," he added.

The collection includes EverQuest Evolution, EverQuest II, PlanetSide Aftershock, The Matrix Online and Star Wars Galaxies (featuring the original LucasArts developed title and its first expansion pack, Jump to Lightspeed) for a single retail price of USD 39.99. The anthology is scheduled for a US release on March 14th.
