SOE president to keynote ION conference

John Smedley to discuss PS3 title The Agency

John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment, will deliver the first keynote speech for Seattle's ION Game Conference in May.

Smedley will discuss the accomplishments of SOE and the MMO market, as well as the studio's development of online PC and PS3 shooter The Agency.

"John Smedley and SOE have had an indelible impact in the online game industry," commented Peter Freese, conference director for the 2008 ION Game Conference.

"His insight of the past and vision for the future is a message we are excited to share with our attendees."

The ION Game Conference takes place May 13 — 15, in Seattle.
