Slow start for DJ Hero in UK charts

Music title debuts at number 20, as new Football Manager takes top spot

Activision's DJ Hero has entered the charts at number 20 in the UK on its first week of release.

The company had originally said that pre-orders for the game were impressive, with the release to be a "tent-pole" title for the publisher. The game sells for around GBP 89 129 in the region.

"Expensive" game bundles like DJ/Guitar hero are probably going on young peoples' Christmas lists rather than being bought right now. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a lot higher by the end of next month. They'll be getting a +1 from me around that time anywho :)

Also - every DJ Hero purchase at this point is an investment in the peripheral, which tends to accentuate the longer tail on purchasing. The game definitely isn't number 20 on the revenue chart, of course...
