- San Jose-based online game publisher, Gamescampus.com ( www.gamescampus.com , run by OnNet USA), announced today that Team USA has been crowned the official winner of the 2008 United Cup, a global scale tournament between USA and Europe recently held in its game, Shot Online.

The finals for the tournament were held on September 30th at Shot Online's Pearl Green Island course. The competition between Team USA and Team Europe was intense throughout the tournament. Team Europe had taken the lead but in the last match, USA Team Captain, TigerWood, went head-to-head against Europe's Team Captain, MS-201, and with great skill and perseverance was able to overcome Team Europe's lead to win the United Cup for Team USA 8-6. The USA winning team members

include: Captain: TigerWood, Tschriver, Bigbudsmoker1, Joeyj, Jenisee, BeeBum, xTomik, DEEF, Helvet and Cadaviar.

Prizes will be awarded to all participants in the Shot Online 2008 United Cup Tournament Finals. Prizes awarded to each of the winning Team USA players include 10 million NG, a repairable United Cup driver and a full set of 2008 United Cup clothing. Prizes awarded to the each of the players on the 2nd place team, Team Europe, include five million NG, a non-repairable United Cup driver and a full set of 2008 United Cup clothing. In addition, the winning Team captain's name, TigerWood from Team USA, will also be entered into the Shot Online Hall of Fame.
