SCi confirms open offer in company
SCi's Board has officially confirmed that it is once again seeking investment in the company.
In an announcement, the company said that it "is considering a placing and open offer in the near future" but did not name any potential partners.
Recent speculation has focused on NBC Universal being brought in as a majority shareholder or upon Time Warner increasing its current stake in the company.
The fund raising is necessary to raise the working capital that the company said it needed when it reported interim results in February.
