Rockstar Leeds, CCP and IO Join Nordic Game 2009

Chinatown Wars, EVE Online and Hitman 5 to be discussed in Sweden

Organisers of the Nordic Game 2009 event have announced the speakers for the final three sessions of the conference program, with representatives from Rockstar Leeds, CCP Games and IO Interactive now confirmed.

Ian Bowden from portable developer Rockstar Leeds will host a creative lecture entitled 'It’s a Small World', where he will discuss the challenges of developing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS.

Nathan Richardsson from EVE Online developer CCP Games will give the talk 'Decisions towards World Domination' and discuss how the company has evolved the success of EVE Online from cult hit to mainstream success.

Finally, Calle Lejdfors from Hitman creator IO Interactive will give a technical lecture named 'Designing a flexible content pipeline'. His talk will include an overview of the content pipeline of the Glacier 2 engine used in the next Hitman game – one of the first times the new sequel has been referred to publically.

Nordic Game 2009 is due to take place in Malmö, Sweden, from May 19-20. Further information can be found at the official website.
