Redneck Fishin'

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

-- IQ212 Games today announced the release of Redneck Fishin’™ for mobile. In the woods, the suburbs, or the city, Redneck Fishin’ allows players to fish for trout, bass and more using dynamite for bait.

Redneck Fishin’ for mobile is the debut of iQ212’s newest game franchise, where the player helps Brandi and Randy save their homestead from the tax man in this made for mobile arcade game. In the game, players will “fish” in different fishing hole settings and blow past the daily limit of fish, ranging from tiny minnows and blue gill, to giant catfish and bass. Every fish caught helps pay off the tax bill, buying back the family’s TV, pool, truck, and other property confiscated by Sheriff Buford. The game is a fun tribute to the “get ‘er done” inventiveness of rural blue collar Americans.

With the launch of Redneck Fishin’ for mobile, iQ212 is launching a social networked Facebook version of the game to promote the fun gameplay, the animated characters and wacky story online. The online version provides fans an opportunity to play at home or at work, as well as to share and compete for scores with friends. High scores and progress are saved and a leaderboard compares the player's rank with their Facebook friends. A PC version is forthcoming. This is all part of iQ212’s cross-platform vision to deliver fun games to the platform the mass-market plays on: web, mobile and PC. For more details and to play the Facebook version, visit http://apps.new.facebook.com/redneckfishin/ .

"Redneck Fishin’ is a fun mobile experience with broad appeal that users will enjoy, replay, share, and talk about," said Rick Marazzani, GM of iQ212 Games. "Redneck Fishin’ is the latest addition to iQ212’s growing portfolio of fun, original, mass-market entertainment properties. We want to entertain the most people on the widest platforms, and Redneck Fishin’ accomplishes that."

"Our goal was to create a game and build a franchise that was made for mobile, port to almost every device, and be addictingly fun," said Hsiung Chen, iQ212 co-founder. "With broad consumer appeal and a strong brand name, Redneck Fishin’ will not only delight and entertain mobile users, but the brand and gameplay translates perfectly to web and PC as well."

Redneck Fishin’ mobile is now live for hundreds of handsets in North America for ATT, Verizon Wireless, and Rogers mobile subscribers. It is coming soon to additional carriers and territories.
