A record number of exhibitors will take part in December's Game Connection event in Lyon.

A record number of exhibitors will take part in December's Game Connection event in Lyon.

Now in its seventh year, 188 companies in the videogame business will attend the networking event, a 30 per cent increase over last year's figures.

More than 35 countries will be represented this year, including Australia, Taiwan, Brazil, UK, Russia and Germany.

Some of the names confirmed include Epic Games, Foundation 9, Torus Games, Rebellion, Massive Black and Steel Monkeys.

Game Connection Europe 2007 takes place on December 4 — 6 in Lyon at Le Centre de Congrès.
