PSP video-on-demand service goes live in UK

Sony and Sky's video-on-demand team-up has gone live in the UK and Ireland today.

Go! View allows users to download and transfer content from a PC to the PSP, with monthly rental packages priced between GBP 5 (EUR 7) and GBP 10 (EUR 14) per month.

"We are working with our content providers to secure a quality range of programming and ensure that PSP owners are getting the best possible service on-the-go and on-demand," commented Alison Turner, general manager, of Go! View Entertainment UK.

Distributors and broadcasters partnering with the service include Disney-ABC-ESPN, BBC Worldwide, Sony Pictures Television, NBC Universal International, National Geopraphic amd Sky Sports.
