PSP retains top spot in Japan

The PlayStation Portable is yet again at the top of Japanese hardware sales for the week ended June 8, according to figures from Media Create.

Sony's handheld sold 62,016 units and was followed by the Nintendo Wii and DS, selling 44,639 and 35,020 units respectively.

The PlayStation 3 sold 10,856 units and the PS2 has continued to sell well, with 6279 units sold.

The Xbox 360 comes in last with 2280 but again saw its sale rise from last week's 1959 units sold.
