PSP 3.70 firmware released in UK

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Portable firmware has been updated to version 3.70 in Japan and Europe, with the US due to follow soon.

Version 3.70 will works on the new PSP Slim & Lite as well as the old one, although some features are specific to one or other model.

New features include the ability to set custom themes, while videos can now be searched through and played sequentially. You can also listen to music while browsing photos now.

Full details on the changes made in the 3.70 firmware are available now, along with download instructions for the UK.

Notification of US availability will be published as soon as the update is downloadable in the territory.
