PS3 breaks DS stranglehold on Japanese charts

Two titles for the PlayStation 3 have managed to break Nintendo's DS stranglehold on the Japanese charts, according to data from Media Create.

Spike's Samuraidou 3 and SCEA's Resistance 2 entered the charts at two and five, selling 81,047 copies and 33,584 units, respectively.

For the week ended November 16, DS titles made up the rest of the top ten, with Hoshi no Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe still selling strong, with a further 97,449 copies, at number one.
