Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 sits atop Euro charts

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has dominated both the Spanish and German software sales charts for the week ended October 19, according to data provided by Media-Control GfK International.

Germany saw Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 take first and second place on the PlayStation 3 and PC respectively. This was followed by another football title, FIFA 09 which took third place on PlayStation 2 and fourth on PlayStation 3.

Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel, for the PC came in fifth, while Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for the Xbox 360 secured a spot at number six. Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit came in seventh and eighth respectively, followed by FIFA 09 on the PC at nine and Xbox 360 at ten.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 topped the Spanish chart as well, with the PS3 version taking number one and the Xbox 360 version taking number two. FIFA 09 for the PS2 took third place, while the PS3 version took fourth.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on PC came in fifth place, followed by Mario Kart Wii in sixth place and Wii Fit in seventh. Wii Play came in eighth, while Saints Row 2 for the PS3 took ninth and FIFA 09 for the PlayStation Portable closed off the chart at ten.
