PlayStation Move line-up confirmed

Launch and post-launch details solidify for first and third party support

Sony has clarified a full list of games compatible with the PlayStation Move motion controller, after announcing a release date and pricing information at yesterday's pre-E3 conference.

A total of 16 Move titles will be available at the September launch, with Sony promising 40 more by Christmas. However, it is currently unclear how many of these include existing titles retroactively patched to support the new controller.

First party titles highlighted yesterday include the previously unseen title Sorcery, as well as mascot crossover Heroes On The Move, puzzle game echochrome ii, retro compilation The Sly Collection, party game Tumble and Singstar Dance.

Other previously demonstrated games include SOCOM 4, The Fight: Lights Out, Kung Fu Rider, Planet Minigolf, Sports Champions, Start the Party, TV Superstars, The Shoot and Under Siege. A new Ape Escape game is also believed to be underway at Sony Japan.

Major Sony titles such as Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 will also use the controller, but not necessarily as the default input.

Third party support for the device is currently relatively limited but Sony did highlight a number of titles in a video showcase, including Namco Bandai's Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Crave's Brunswick Pro Bowling and Deadliest Catch, 2K Sports' NBA 2K11, Ubisfot's R.U.S.E., Disney's Tron Evolution and Warner's The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest.

Additionally a number of existing games will be patched to support PlayStation Move, including Sony titles EyePet, Flower, Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet, Pain, High Velocity Bowling and Hustle Kings.

Some third party titles released prior to Move's September launch will also be patched, notably EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Disney's Toy Story 3: The Game and Capcom's Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition.
