Plans for eGames & Entertainment Expo underway

Australia's biggest videogame and entertainment event, the eGames & Entertainment Expo, is making a return this winter and hopes to build on last year's success.

Organised by Australasian Exhibitions & Events, the expo will take place at the Melbourne Exhibition Center from November 14 - 16, 2008.

The expo will see developers and publishers from across the entertainment industry display and demonstrate their products to consumers and the media.

"The success of the eGames & Entertainment Expo speaks for itself when you consider that in just two years the event has consolidated its standing as the major industry platform to launch and showcase anything to do with electronic games and digital entertainment," commented Noel Gray, managing director of Australasian Exhibitions and Events.

"We are delighted to have been able to deliver what is now recognised as the definitive industry event for Australia."
