Pixel Mine Portal

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

- Pixel Mine today officially launched the Pixel Mine Portal, a micro-payment based gateway for premium downloadable games. Available at launch are Iron Will Games’ Ashen Empires and Dransik, along with two games currently in Beta, Fireteam Reloaded and Callipygian Games’ Secondhand Lands. The Austin-based developer plans on adding three to four games to the portal each year, some of those coming from third party independent developers such as Iron Will Games.

Pixel Mine President David Reese explains motivation behind the portal, “We want to make games that we like to play and help developers like us get their titles to market.” He continues, “Our internal billing and payment system allows developers on the portal to gain more from their hard work and retain ownership of their intellectual property.”

The Pixel Mine Portal was established as a one-stop-shop for gamers to browse and play Pixel Mine games, check out stats, chat with friends, manage their accounts and billing, read the latest news, and more. Gamers can purchase tradable tokens, which can be used across the Pixel Mine Portal for all games, and in the future will be able to earn Pixel Mine Points to use towards special prizes and store items.

Headquartered in the gaming hotbed of Austin, Texas, Pixel Mine, Inc is a developer and publisher of high quality independent entertainment products. More information about Pixel Mine can be found online at www.pixelminegames.com.

"GamesIndustry.biz is one of my starting tabs when I boot up... so it's always one of the first sites I see each day. It's good being able to catch up with what's happened in the US overnight, and in the UK before I'm awake first thing, and know that the stories will be accurate and thought out."
