Paris to host Game AI conference

Crytek and DICE staffers speaking, Havok and Four Door Lemon sponsoring

Next week sees the Game AI Conference 2010, the second annual forum concentrating on in-game artificial intelligence.

Hundreds of developers are expected to attend the two day conference, held in Paris on June 23 and 24. Confirmed as talking at the symposium are Mikko Mononen (lead AI on Crysis), Mikael Hedberg (EA DICE), Claudio Pedica (CCP) and character animation consultant Ken Perlin.

Multiplatform game and middleware development studio Four Door Lemon have confirmed as one of the conference's sponsors.

Simon Barratt of the Bradford-based developer said, "We’re very proud to be sponsoring such as a great conference with a specific focus on AI and game logic. Many of the techniques that are discussed are applicable across all games from indie to AAA and, as an indie developer, being at this event is very important to us."

Other sponsors include Havok and Autodesk. See the Paris Game AI Conference site for more details and to register.
