Omegame Menus Master

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

: Omegame today announced that Omegame Menus Master, a complete video game user interface (UI) authoring toolchain, is now a 3rd Party Tool for the WiiTM console, immediately available for purchase by Wii game developers.

Omegame Menus Master helps artists and programmers to dramatically reduce the time it takes to author any sophisticated game user interfaces: 2D and 3D front-ends, in-game UIs and heads-up displays (HUD). The game user interface can be fully authored by artists, without any need for a programmer’s assistance. Programmers are only involved for the actual integration of the UI into the game; child’s play for any video game programmer.

“The Wii system is very exciting for Omegame; it has broadened the video game audience to a new demographic, unfamiliar to video games” said Sebastien Kohn, Sales and Marketing Director for Omegame, “an intuitive User Interface is critical to offer these new gamers a great experience that will convince them to keep playing video games”.

“The Wii Remote opens brand new horizons in terms of interactions” said Nicolas Perret, CTO for Omegame, “the scalability of Menus Master combined with its artist oriented design make it the perfect tool to free this great potential”.

Omegame Menus Master is a bundle of three products: Menus Master Studio, Menus Master Data Generator and Menus Master Development Kit. Menus Master Studio is dedicated to the artists; it allows a quick and easy authoring of any kind of game UI through its user-friendly visual interface. Menus Master Data Generator is a processing module, batchable with the game production pipeline. Menus Master Development Kit is Menus Master’s SDK, that allows the programmers to smoothly integrate the UI into the game.

Omegame Menus Master for the Wii console is now available to interested Wii game developers. For more information or to set up an evaluation of Omegame Menus Master, please visit Omegame on the web at http://www.omegame.com.
