Nintendo, Microsoft PR firms honoured by PRWeek

Work on Wii and Halo 3 launches recognised

The external PR agencies for Microsoft and Nintendo were honoured last night at the PRWeek 2008 Awards.

GolinHarris won the PRWeek Campaign of the Year and Consumer Launch Campaign of the Year honours for their work on the launch of Nintendo's Wii console.

Meanwhile, Edelman won the Technology Campaign of the Year award surrounding the release of Halo 3.

"All of the winners, honorable mentions, and finalists in our 33 categories provided exemplary work for their companies and clients," said PRWeek editor-in-chief Keith O'Brien.

"The awards serve as a testament to the innovative, creative, and effective work taking place in the PR industry."

PRWeek, established in 1998, provides news, reviews, profiles, techniques and research for practitioners.
