Nintendo confirms new DS bundles

Zelda and Nintendogs packs in time for Christmas

Nintendo of America has confirmed the release of two new DS Lite bundles for the US market.

Originally revealed earlier this month, the Gold and Metallic Rose editions will come with a copy of Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Nintendogs, respectively.

"Nintendo DS remains the portable system of choice for gamers," commented George Harrison, NoA's senior VP of marketing.

"Our new bundles will be collector's items for current gamers while offering an attractive way for people new to videogames to play with style."

The special edition bundles will go on sale November 23 in North America.
