New TIGA CEO to be named at awards ceremony

Event takes place in London on January 30

TIGA, The Independent Game Developers Association, announced that they will unveil their new CEO at the annual 2007 awards ceremony.

The new CEO will replace Fred Hasson who announced his departure from the role last year and who has remained in the position in order to spearhead the recruitment of his replacement.

"I'm delighted to reveal that we will be introducing TIGA's new CEO at the Annual Dinner and Awards on Wednesday, January 30," said Hasson.

"I know that members will want to meet the man who takes over from me in March. I am confident that he will take TIGA to the next stage of its development and it's really important that members provide the same support that I enjoyed over the last seven years."

TIGA recently announced the nominees for the awards ceremony which will take place at the Haymarket Hotel in London.
