New publisher PlayV to launch with 11 titles

Batch of PC, DS, Wii and PlayStation titles due October 3

New UK based publisher PlayV is to launch in the region with 11 titles on October 3.

PlayV is headed by former D3P UK boss David Hope, and incorporates titles from Virgin Play and PlayLogic.

"We wanted to launch with a strong catalogue bristling with quality games," commented Hope.

"Because of the link between PlayV, Virgin Play and PlayLogic we are in the unique position of having a huge catalogue at our disposal. This is going to help us secure a foothold in the busy Q4 period," he said.

Titles due from the publisher include Worldshift and Xyanide Resurrection for PC, Dragon Hunters for DS and Obscure II for the Wii.
