More reports point to impending Xbox 360 price drop

Following leaks from the retail community that the Xbox 360 is due a price cut this weekend, more reports have surfaced to back the expected announcement.

Microsoft intends to drop the price of the Premium or Pro SKU to USD 299 in North America, a deal that has been confirmed to multiple news outlets, including Reuters.

Flyers and adverts for the price drop have appeared on a number of blogs and websites in the past week, with analysts also expecting the impending announcement.
