Monumental wins Innovative Business award

UK developer Monumental Games has been honoured as the Innovative Business of the Year at the Fast Growth Business Awards.

The studio was awarded the accolade by a panel made up of business luminaries including entrepreneur James Caan, Kanya King, founder of the MOBO Organisation and Oliver Chivers of T-Mobile.

"While it is humbling to receive this award, I also feel that it is much deserved as we have an incredibly dedicated and motivated team at Monumental who have achieved an immense amount over the last year," commented Rik Alexander, CEO and co-founder of Monumental.

Monumental is currently working on three projects including the MMO Hunter's World, Football Superstars with Cybersports, and an unannounced project for Capcom.

The Fast Growth Business panel declared that Monumental "is not yet a household name, though it might well be within a year or two."
