Midway senior staff shake-up

CFO and senior VP leave roles while marketing execs gain promotion

Midway Games has announced that two key senior executives are to leave their posts - chief financial officer Thomas Powell, also an executive vice president and treasurer, has resigned to join another company, while senior vice president Steve Allison is leaving at the end of March, after a period in an advisory role.

Ryan O'Desky has been appointed interim CFO while the company seeks a permanent replacement for Powell.

Meanwhile in the marketing department Mona Hamilton and Lee Jacobson have been assigned additional responsibilities - Hamilton will now oversee all marketing for the US, while Jacobson will add licensing and in-game advertising to his remit.

Midway's president, David Zucker, commented on the changes: "Midway has a deep and experienced management team, and Mona, Lee and Ryan will be instrumental in moving Midway forward into 2008 and beyond.

"We thank both Tom and Steve for their contributions to Midway and we wish them continued success in their future endeavours."
