Microsoft offers free storage solution for New Xbox Experience

Company prepares users for Live update due November 19

Microsoft is offering a free storage device to Xbox 360 owners who don't currently have a hard drive, in preparation for the launch of the New Xbox Experience.

The Xbox Storage Upgrade site offers either a refurbished 20GB hard drive priced between GBP 12.99 and GBP 19.99, a free 512MB memory unit or combination of hard drive and Xbox Live time.

Owners of the Core and Arcade units have multiple options depending on their use of Xbox Live and current set-up, with full details available on the official site.

The New Xbox Experience requires 128MB of space, and is available from November 19.
