Mercury signs deal with Atari

Publishing agreement signed for UK distribution of games

Mercury Games has signed a deal with Atari UK to give the publisher exclusive distribution rights for its titles across the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and South Africa.

The titles involved include Paint by DS for the DS, Warriors of the Lost Empire for PlayStation Portable, and Jamster Allstars for the PlayStation 2 and PC.

Atari UK managing director Jeremy Wigmore commented that Mercury's line up is "exciting and varied," and that he is "looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship."

Jamster Allstars will be the first title to ship, with a Q3 release slated.
