Marvelous signs deal to expand into US

Marvelous Entertainment has signed a deal with XSEED Games, which will see the company establish a publishing presence in the US market.

Under the agreement, XSEED will publish in the US various titles from Marvelous' portfolio of games. The first title announced under this partnership, scheduled to launch later this year, is the RPG Valhalla Knights 2 for the PlayStation Portable.

"We're pleased to be able to announce our new expansion into the largest gaming market in the world, the United States," said Yasuhiro Wada, managing director of Marvelous Entertainment.

"I'm confident that together with our co-publishing agreement with XSEED Games, we will be able to hit the ground running as we ramp up our US operations," he added.

Marvelous Entertainment is also the publisher behind No More Heroes for the Wii and Harvest Moon for the DS.
