Mark Rein confirmed for Nordic Game 2008

The first raft of speakers at this year's much-anticipated Nordic Game Conference and Career Expo have been unveiled, with a number of high profile names due to feature in the Business and Production session track.

Epic's Games VP Mark Rein will be joined by Microsoft Games Studios business development director Peter Zetterberg and Team 17 studio director Martyn Brown - along with a host of other key names - for a roundtable discussion focusing on the pitching process called "Art of the Deal".

And in a panel discussion called "Top Models," which will look at some of the new business models in the online arena, Nexon's director of game operations Min Kim will be joined by TeliaSonera's Vlad Ihora, among others, with Thomas Bidaux acting as moderator.

Other sessions in the track include "Out of the Box," looking at the future of digital distribution channels, and a production roundtable called "Meaning of Scrum."

Further details on the rest of the speaker line-up, as well as more information on the other conference track sessions, will be available soon.

The Nordic Game event will take place at the Malmo Convention Center in Sweden from May 14-15, and information on registration is available now.
