Majecso rejects PETA's Cooking Mama criticisms
Majesco Entertainment has responded to PETA's criticism of its Wii and DS franchise Cooking Mama, by issuing a statement pointing out a number of vegetarian recipes contained in the latest title Cooking Mama World Kitchen.
Earlier this week, PETA issued a parody browser-based game of Cooking Mama, claiming the title focuses too much on dishes that involve meat.
"Cooking Mama World Kitchen includes more than 25 vegetarian-friendly recipes including delicious breakfast, dinner, dessert and snack options," explained the company in a statement.
"And, while Mama is not a vegetarian, she fully supports the humane treatment of animals."
