Mad Catz stock rises on new products

Accessories company Mad Catz saw its stock rise by 10 per cent yesterday following its unveiling of a new Saitek Flight Stick for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.

The peripherals, which were designed with Ubisoft title HAWX in mind, will ship across North America later this month for USD 49.99.

The announcement prompted the company's shares to hit their highest point since October last year, at 43 cents, up from a 52-week low of 27 cents but down from a 52-week high of USD 1.16.
