LittleBigPlanet beta to hit this month

Sony has revealed that LittleBigPlanet will have a "limited public beta test" set to launch this September, a month before the game's release.

Posting on the US PlayStation boards, SCEA offered scant information on the upcoming beta, but assured readers that details would be released in time.

"There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September," read the post. "If it will be possible to 'sign up' for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test. Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time."
