Konami brings MGS and PES creators to Game Convention 05

Kojima and Takatsuka both set to appear at Leipzig event next month

Japanese publisher Konami has announced that the creators of two of its most successful franchises, Metal Gear Solid and Pro Evolution Soccer, will be attending the Game Convention show in Leipzig next month.

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima will be attending the show to give the latest insights on the progression of the Metal Gear franchise - although whether that'll go any further than the amusing teaser trailer for MGS4 shown at E3 remains to be seen.

He will be accompanied at the show by Shinta Nojiri, director of PlayStation Portable turn based strategy title Metal Gear Acid - which will be shown off on the show floor.

Meanwhile, from the Pro Evolution Soccer camp, director Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka will be appearing at a European event for the first time ever to demonstrate the many new features of Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

Game Convention 2005 runs from August 17th to 21st in Leipzig.
