Konami and Hudson extend deal into Europe

Hudson Soft's titles to be distributed via Konami network channels

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has agreed a deal with Hudson Soft to distribute its titles throughout Europe, beginning in 2008.

Hudson Soft, which is already part of the Konami Group, is currently looking to send nine titles to Europe via the Konami network, all of which are as yet unnamed, but will be "a mix of fun, sport-based and new IPs being developed for Nintendo's DS handheld and Wii home system," according to the company.

Hudson Soft spokesperson Hiromi Tomisawa commented: "Konami's pan-European operation is incredibly strong and we look forward to a close working relationship as we introduce our new titles to European games players."

Hudson is best known outside of Japan for its Bomberman franchise of games.
