Kmart advertises Oz Xbox 360 price cut

Kmart has begun advertising a price cut for the Xbox 360 Pro in Australia, according to Screen Play.

The console is being advertised at AUD 449 (GBP 214.9), down AUD 130 (GBP 62) from the current price of AUD 579 (GBP 277) and will be on sale at that price from July 3.

It has been rumoured for the past month that Microsoft are planning to announce a USD 50 price cut in the run up to E3 this year, which was later backed up by comments from an analyst and a report citing "a major retailer".
