John Greiner departure

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

REDWOOD CITY, CA – April 30, 2008 - Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm of Hudson Soft, today announced that after 20 years with Hudson Soft and Hudson Entertainment, John Greiner has decided to step down from his position as President and CEO of its North American office, effective May 15, 2008.

Greiner worked for Hudson Soft in Japan for 15 years before launching the company’s U.S. business in 2003. He has been in charge of the North American operations ever since and has steered the company to success, including the Xbox Live Arcade game-of-the-year in 2007, Bomberman Live.

“Twenty years at one company is a testament to the quality of the Hudson culture,” said John Greiner. “When you are with a company for that long, the people become a major part of your life. My blood is Hudson blue. I will continue to support them long after my departure.”

Greiner plans to spend time with his family and pursue personal interests. The company currently has no plans to search for an outside replacement. Instead, the U.S. division’s Senior Executive and Chairman, Seiichi Ishigaki, will step in and assume Greiner’s responsibilities.

“John Greiner has been a huge part of the Hudson history in the West,”

said Seiichi Ishigaki, Chairman of Hudson Entertainment. “We will miss his leadership, and we wish him the best of luck in his personal endeavors. Hudson will continue its mission to deliver the best entertainment products for the North American market.”

Hudson Entertainment is busy preparing for the upcoming launch of its key summer release, DECA SPORTS™ for the Wii and also has several WiiWare™ projects in the works with plans to announce new projects across multiple digital download platforms for the fall of 2008 soon.
