Into the Pixel 2008

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

Into the Pixel (ITP) 2008 will feature 16 works of art from videogames, selected by a panel of experts from world-class museums, cutting-edge galleries, and interactive entertainment industry art veterans. This unique exhibition showcases the talented artists and inspirational art that goes into games, yet is rarely seen by the art-loving public.

ITP is made possible by a joint effort between the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), and the Prints & Drawings Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Now in its fifth year, ITP will continue to showcase and recognize talented artists who create art using video games as their medium.

The deadline for submissions is extended to Thursday, May 29, 12:00 PM (EST)

Interested artists should visit www.IntoThePixel.com for detailed information and to submit their art for consideration by the jury for the ITP "Class of 2008"
