Intel sponsors GCDC for sixth year

The organisers of the GC Developers Conference have announced that Intel will be platinum sponsor of this year's event, sharing a main sponsorship with Nokia.

The company has supported GCDC since its start in 2003.

"GCDC 2008 is a remarkable opportunity to highlight Intel's resources and technologies for developers," said Elliot Garbus, VP and GM of Intel's visual computing software division.

"Intel is committed to supporting innovation in the worldwide game developer community."

The company will deliver several sessions as part of the conference agenda and will have a presence in the exhibition area.

GDCD 2008 takes place in Leipzig, Germany on August 18-20.
