Hautefort becomes head of global distribution for Atari
Responsible for US, Europe and Asia
Infogrames has promoted Mathias Hautefort to head of global distribution for Atari products in the US, Europe and Asia.
The move follows the high-profile signing of Phil Harrison, former Sony exec, as president of Infogrames.
"[Hautefort] is a key member of the company and as executive vice president for worldwide publishing and production, he has been successful to trigger a relaunch of the publishing initiatives of the Group," commented David Gardner, CEO of Infogrames.
"I am confident in his sales experience and his organisational and management skills to give a new impetus to Group distribution."
Hautefort joined the company last year and was responsible for developing IP and managing product development.
"My appointment as head of global distribution is a new exciting challenge for me," said Hautefort.
"Recent appointments of David Gardner and Phil Harrison is not only a new momentum in Infogrames' history but also in my career and I am thrilled to think it will be the most exciting one."
