GTA IV retains top spot on UK charts

GTA IV sales declined 77 per cent in the game's second week of release according to UK sales data released by Chart-Track, but the game nevertheless retained the top spot in the All Formats Chart.

Chart-Track also reported that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV improved its share to 62 per cent of sales - compared to 55 per cent of sales last week.

GTA IV outsold the second place game - Nintendo's Wii Fit - by a margin of 4 to 1. Last week, the margin was 9 to 1.

Wii Fit sales slipped 48 per cent this past week but remained in the second spot. Mario Kart, however, dropped from fifth to ninth place. Iron Man: The Official Video Game was the only new entry in the Top Ten this week.
