Grand Theft Auto IV

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

The highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) IV is finally here and is said to be the biggest game of 2008. Many high-street shops opened their doors at midnight to meet demand for the popular game, however, it is predicted that not all customers looking to get a copy of GTA IV will be successful.

“When gamers can’t get hold of a copy of GTA in the high-street they will search online. WhyBuyGames ( http://www.whybuygames.co.uk) doesn’t sell games through our website but we can guarantee customers who subscribe to our online rental service a copy of GTA IV if it’s added to their rental queue.” tells Aaron, Director of Products & Services.

“WhyBuyGames have had to pre-order GTA IV weeks in advanced to meet demand” he continues, “There are quite allot of customers that have GTA IV in their rental queue, all with the game at the top of their list. We know high-street shops will not be able to cope with demand so we are hoping gamers will choose the sensible option and rent instead.”

Grand Theft Auto IV is expected to break the opening week sales figures of Microsoft’s Halo 3 and pull in up to £200m. Early review websites have labelled the game a ‘Masterpiece’ and GTA IV is on course to be the most critically acclaimed title of all time.
