Glu Mobile and Sega extend partnership

New Sega games go mobile in European deal

Mobile games publisher Glu Mobile announced today that it is extending its deal with SEGA Europe to publish games on mobile phones in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The multi-title deal will bring Sonic Golf 2D, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, film licence The Golden Compass and SEGA Rally to mobile phones, amongst others.

SEGA and Glu have already enjoyed a two-year association that has seen the original Sonic The Hedgehog claim the number one position in ELPSA's UK mobile games download chart.

Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing at Glu, said: āSEGA is renowned for quality, engaging game play, and weāre pleased to extend our relationship to bring more of these world-class games to mobile consumers."
