GDC Lyon calls for papers
Deadline for submission of topics for inaugural event is September 28
A call for papers has been issued from the organisers of this year's Game Developers Conference event taking place for the first time in Lyon.
Sessions and panels will take place across six tracks: programming/coding; game design/scenarios; arts/animation/storyboards; audio/music; production/project management; and business/management.
The event will take place just before this year's Game Connection in Lyon, on December 3 — 4, and potential speakers are requested to submit topics for consideration by September 28.
The advisory board for GDC Lyon includes Julian Eggebrecht, CEO of Factor 5, Serge Hascoet, chief creative officer for Ubisoft, Julien Merceron, CTO of Eidos, and Avni Yerli, managing director of Crytek.
GDC events take place several times each year, with a conference in Austin, Texas, happening next week.
