GDC: Glu unveil N-Gage line-up

First three titles for Nokia's games platform announced

Speed Racer, Super Slam Ping Pong, and The Dark Knight will be the first three titles from Glu Mobile to support Nokia's forthcoming software and social networking platform, N-Gage.

The announcement, made at the Game Developers Conference, adds to the 19 titles that Nokia have already unveiled, including the likes of FIFA 08, The Sims: Pets and Brothers in Arms.

The platform is currently in a beta phase, available to Nokia N81 handset owners, with six games currently playable.

Speed Racer and The Dark Knight are both titles which will link up with the respective Warner Bros movies due for release later in the year.

Alex Galvagni, senior VP for product development and CTO at Glu, commented: "N-Gage is a great innovation in mobile gaming technology, and this line-up of games from Glu utilizes the platform capabilities to offer richly rewarding game experiences."

No specific date has yet been announced for the full release of N-Gage, but more details of the beta trial are available here.
