GCAP announce dates and call for speakers

Games Connect: Asia Pacific 08 has announced that it will be held in Brisbane, Queensland from 19- 22 November at the Hilton Hotel Brisbane.

The event's organiser, the Game Developers Association of Australia, has called for industry professionals to come forward as speakers, and will be accepting submissions until June 6.

"The new and game developer and publisher focused GCAP 08 program will address topics and trends of the Asia Pacific game industry," said Greg Bondar, chairman of GCAP 08 and CEO of the GDAA.

Some of the topics on discussion at GCAP 08 will be online, mobile, casual and serious games, as well as technological developments including server technologies.
