Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

Turin, August 19th, 2008

One year after its very first international production, GameTribes Television celebrates the opening of the company’s newest Business Unit, GameTribes Europe.

This important step it’s also the answer to the growing European audience of what has been the first and unique Italian Web Television about videogames and has recently turned into a broadcast network with new and greater international aims.

“It’s a due and well-considered decision we couldn’t delay” – says Massimiliano Palma, CEO and co-founder of the Network. “We decided to entrust Christian Belletti with the management of the European tasks, granting autonomy to him and to his Team: we think it’s the best way to continue serving Italian gaming world as usual, yet opening to the international opportunities at the same time”.

The resulting company’s asset will consist in two divisions: GameTribes Italia, run by Marco Bona, and the new GameTribes Europe, referring to Christian Belletti. The headquarters for both divisions will be in c.so Turati 15/h, 10128 Turin – Italy.

The two Business Units will work on video production, format development, live coverages for both the GameTribes Network itself and their international and italian customers. GameTribes Europe and GameTribes Italy will act as two independent department but will also be able to collaborate in order to produce the best show for the audience and to offer the most effective showcase for videogames & entertainment industry and IT companies.

“It’s a challenge that shall already provide results during the GC08” – says Palma – “and that will proceed through important partnerships ready to change the face of italian videogames world”.

Christian Belletti is the Executive Producer for GameTribes Broadcasting and manages the Europe Division. Together with its technical staff he deals with studio and field tv production, being also responsible for format development and for the content-promotion activities.

Marco Bona has been involved in GameTribes Product Management since the company’s very first days. Combining creativity and marketing strategies, he puts passion into the setting-up of a modern and qualified TV, as well as into the solution design for the company’s new goals.
